My tattoo is finally finished!!!
There's still a little touch-up to do on the cross and his claws but my dragon is finished!

Isn't he GORGEOUS???  His name is Neartu which is Gaelic for strengthen (I hope LOL).

Wow! That is really gorgeous. Beautiful design and detail. When you say "finally," how many sessions or hours did it take?

Thank you! It was 4 sessions of 3+ hours each except for last night's, which was only 2 hours.

Really nice ^^
I'd like to have a tattoo as well, unfortunately so far I did not find design I'd like -_- How long did it take you to find and decide you want this dragon and not something else?

It took about a year to decide on the design. I knew I wanted a Celtic cross with a dragon, it was just finding one that I really liked.

Wow thats really gorgeous!
Did you go somewhere local? Curious as I want to add onto my backpiece and finding artists who do knotwork well is hard.

She's a friend of ours that has a small shop in her house here in Everett. She is really good, though, and everything is very sanitary.
The knotwork on the cross was mostly free-hand since the pattern that she put on my skin to follow started to rub off LOL I'm getting a couple more done this summer that have knotwork as well. Her rates are really reasonable too - $75 an hour.
